Letters relating to the school at Mt. Coffee, Liberia, 1909 May 14-1913 May 16.

Letters sent by Mrs. Sharp to Francis E. Blake of the Trustees of Donations for Education in Liberia, Mt. Coffee Association which was partially supporting the mission school, established by the A.M.E. Church in the interior of the country. Mrs. Sharp describes the land and her situation in detail--a chronic lack of funds hampering construction of the mission, the enthusiasm of the students, and makes some mention of politics and the economy of Liberia. Includes two letters to Blake from Thomas J.R. Faulkner, and one from the children to Mrs. Blake. With two photographs, 1912, of Mrs. Sharp's house at Mt. Coffee, and one photograph of students.
